Website filters for your PC.
Umer OS started on Android. The same idea is planned for your computer: make the distracting path hard and the useful path easy, so your phone is not the only place you lose an afternoon.
Not available yet. This page describes the plan. You cannot buy or download PC filters today. [CONFIRM RELEASE PLAN: WHICH PCS AND BROWSERS FIRST, AND WHEN.]
The plan
What we are building toward.
1
Close the sites that pull you in
Choose the sites that take your time (video, social feeds, news, shopping) and keep them closed while you work. [CONFIRM PC FEATURES: WHAT CAN BE BLOCKED.]
2
Work sessions
Start a session and only the sites you allow open until it ends. [CONFIRM PC FEATURES: SESSIONS, SCHEDULES.]
3
The same promise on privacy
Your browsing is your business. [CONFIRM PRIVACY: WILL THE PC VERSION WORK WITHOUT SENDING YOUR BROWSING ANYWHERE?]
We will say clearly which computers and browsers it supports before it is released. Until then, nothing here is a promise of a date.
